I did a complete backup using iTunes and iCloud of my 14ProMax prior to bringing it to the Apple Store and purchasing a new 17 ProMax. At the Apple Store the iCloud backup was used to restore my info to the new phone but the music was not included because most of my music was my personal MP3 music converted from my CD collection over the past 25 years (250GBs).
I can’t get iTunes to restore from the 14ProMax backup to the 17 because it does not show and can’t be selected in iTunes as iTunes only shows the 17 backups.
How can I do this? Thanks

Music isn't included in any backups, connect your iPhone to your Mac/PC and sync back the music using iTunes/Music. That's what I do to sync my Music back.

Do you happen to still have the MP3's stored somewhere on a computer? If so you can do this using the Apple Music app signed into the same account, Add the music to your library then click Update Cloud Library.

This backup took almost 3 hours and indicated that the music was being backup.
Syncing only brought back the music from the Apple Store not my saved MP3 music.
Thanks for the reply.

BuggyGT.
Yes I have 2 TBs of music saved on hard drives of which I have selected 250MBs of music for the iPhone. Guess I have to start all over again. So much for backups in the Apple world.
