HOW TO RESTORE OLD BACK UPS

Hi guys,

i recently deleted some old work whatsapps ext, my phone then auto backed up ( as it does every night to icloud) but now i need to retrieve those old work messages. does anyone know if the data is saved anywhere? as if i restore from back it will only do it from last nights back up which i had deleted the messages last week so they are no longer that! wahh what a catch 22

Have you connected it to iTunes in the past month? If you're lucky there could be a backup made in the background. Get iMazing trial and check if you can see any, and if yes, search for the missing WhatsApp chat.

p.s. I would strongly recommend getting iMazing license and make weekly backups for exactly this reason. It has incremental backups so they won't use much space, and having a backup history for the last 2 months can be a lifesaver.
