I've had my new MBA for about 6 months and I'm selling it.
I bought the AppleCare with it and registered it.
But now that I'm selling it I want to unregister the AppleCare and get the money back that I paid for it (since I haven't left the free one year period).

Any advice?

I don't believe it is possible. Call Apple and ask, I'm interesting to find out if they'll do this.

You can transfer the Applecare agreement to the new buyer, so you could always ask the buyer if he wants this and perhaps get the funds of him that way ;)

For transferring the agreement, just call Applecare and tell them you want to transfer the package to a new person. They'll take this name, address and phone no.
