How to rip audio from DVD?

I've recorded video onto a DVD-R, and I want to extract just the audio from it. Is there a program that will let me do this easily? I've searched around and can't really find one ...

Haven't actually used it, but I've considered it. Can rip anything basically...if you can hear it through your Mac, you can make an mp3 of it. Including Youtube etc etc.
