HI All,
I have a dell UP2414Q running 4k at 60Hz in clamshell mode connected via thunderbolt (mini dp to dp) with DisplayPort 1.2 enabled on the monitor options. Screen works great!
I tried to connect a 2nd Dell UP2414Q monitor via the HDMI output but nothing happens.
The website says you can run up to two displays in clamshell mode.
This is what Apple Says about the 13" MBPro Retina:
Graphics and Video Support
Do I need to get a thunderbolt to HDMI out to make this work on the 2nd Dell monitor?
Why doesn't the HDMI output on the laptop work to run the 2nd screen? Could it beed a bad port?
Not sure if I'm doing something wrong but I'd like to the the 2nd display working.
Thanks of your help,
Tony
