I have a copy of The Sims Complete Collection for Mac but it will not install on my Mac OS X. When I click on the icon it says "You can't open the application The Sims Complete because PowerPC applications are no longer supported."

Is there anyway to run this game on my Mac... Help! :/

If you want to play Sims 3 install Origin and buy+download it now.
It is on sale —and seriously cheap— right now.

Did I mention that you need to act —now—? : )

SIMS 3 Memory

Hi,

I have a MBP (mid 2012), i5 with 8gb and 500hdd.

I'm told the default memory usage is 2gb, but this can be increased to 4gb (or 50% of the amount of memory which is in the MBP)

How do I adjust this setting on my MBP?

Any help gratefully received...........

If you really want to play it you could install Snow Leopard on a separate partition. It only costs $25 to buy Snow Leopard DVD from Apple.

Also Sims 2 complete is available for mac and will run on the newer OSX.

The Sims 2 Super Collection works beautifully on the Mac. There is another thread here on this board where an Aspyr representative talks about how they updated it to make it work so smoothly.

It is cheap enough for the whole set that was available on the Mac and you will get the enhanced version as well. Don't forget to call by Aspyr and pick up Body Shop (for free) as well.

If you want to add mods you might find this posting at Mod the Sims helpful as the folder you need is hidden (scroll down to Muridae's post).
