I am going to upgrade my iPad and iPhone to iOS8 after release. But I also have a mac that is not going to see 10.10 release anytime soon (probably until Oct 15th or later). So I wonder how to safely migrate current iCloud documents to iCloud Drive on my iOS8 devices without losing anything. I know I can't access them from Mavericks anymore. But I expect to see all of them in iCloud drive on iOS8.

I also understand that I should back up my iCloud files to a safe local drive. But I simply have too many documents to download and don't know there is a way to download all in a batch. But I think Apple will come up a way with migration without calling users' frustration as iOS8 release rolls out. Anybody can help?
