It doesn't have dual optically stabilized cameras.
...see how easy it is to just throw something out there in a half-hearted attempt to rain on someone else's idea of the "better phone"? And what did we gain from this tit-for-tat exchange? Not a whole heck of a lot. We'll both continue using our current iPhones until something compels us to upgrade to another phone - iPhone or otherwise.
I'm not saying you have to change your opinion on which black magic box works best for your needs and wallet, that's not interesting to me and I imagine you're capable of making that decision for yourself. I'm just hoping you'll consider the possibility that something can be "too expensive" for you for a specific feature set and still be the better fit for another human being.
Also, the S8 doesn't have iOS, iMessage and from the looks of it the iPhone 8 / 8 Plus / X's processing power. Some or all of these things might not matter to you, but they're sure to matter to some.
And there's still a chance that you can't fool Face ID with a photo. That might mean something to someone, too, if it turns out to be true.
