I've got a tethering app and a screen recording app that I got a while ago and have since been removed from the store. When I get a new phone and I want to put them on that is there a way to save the app to my laptop or something and sync it with another phone?
Also how do these apps even get in? For example, Xrecs recording function isn't even hidden

yes. you can transfer your app to itunes (if its not there already). just plug your phone and select sync apps or drag it manually.

there it will stay until called for.

your work here is finished my friend.

Just make sure you pray that iOS 7, or 8?, isn't incompatible with the old app ;)

(since it will never again receive updates)
