How to save pictures from iPhotos into iCloud or somewhere...?

I'm looking to sell my MacBook but i want to save all of the photos that I've stored on the "photos" app (i.e. photos i've transferred from my iPhone to MacBook photos app". I'm about to sell my MacBook so i want to save everything down before i get rid of it. Does anyone know how to transfer photos from the photos app to iCloud or somewhere that i can have them saved down? I also have an iPhone an iPad but obviously don't want to put them there. is there somewhere in iCloud that i can do that?
