How to save, recover and reinstall TextMessages/SMS from backups

Dear Kind People,

Does somebody have an idea on:

1) How to recover in any format the text messages from a saved backup?

2) and if there's a way reinstall/ put them back in the iphone?

Please please help :)
 
The firmware is the latest version and the phone is NOT jailbroken.
