I continue to have problems with Safari after the Version 10.2.8 Apple pulled a year or so ago. It Unexpectedly quits everytime I hit any arrow, delete or modifier key. I decided for some reason to once again delete Safari and everyhing I could find. Anyway I want to get all the Safari bookmarks from my powerbook which works fine, and get them over to my iMac. There appears to be no way to save or transfer them! Unless I use .Mac which I can't afford.

Go to your home account. In there, go to Library->Safari and copy Bookmarks.plist. It won't actually hurt to copy the whole Safari folder - right-click (or control-click) on the Safari folder (in home->Library) and select "Create Archive of "Safari", then transfer that and double-click it to expand it in your new home->Library folder. That way you preserve your hsitory, form values, etc. But you can just transfer Bookmarks.plist if you'd like.

I see your instructions, but, how do I communicate between computers in order to do this? Do I have to connect one to the other using USB ports?
