How to save videos from email?

I have an original iPad, and I put iMovie on it, but iTunes wont let me add videos to it. So, i emailed myself the footage i wanted to keep on my iPad in my Photo Library, but then i realized: I cant save videos

Is there any way to do this? like is there an app for that? Ive tried afew, but they dont do what i want

This is what I did to get my videos on here, but it is with my iPad 2...

I have a bunch of videos I took with my iPhone4 and were offloaded to my computer. All I did was sync the appropriate folder in 'Photos' in iTunes when my iPad is hooked up and made sure 'include videos' was checked. When I open up iMovie and add a video, they're all there.

What format are the videos in? iTunes only works with .mp4 and other quicktime formats. For other formats, you can try apps like Oplayer HD or Buzz Player to sideload other file formats.
