I switched over from Sony Vegas 10 to FCP X the other day...
Huge switch I know...

So far I love FCPX and only have one issue and that is scrolling. In vegas, I used to be able to use the scroller on my mouse to zoom in and out of my timeline. In FCPX I have to click a slider and drag which is more tedious if you know what I mean.

I have searched all across the internet and haven't found any solutions to how to enable my mouse scroller to control zooming in and out of my timeline. Does anyone know how to do this?

Much appreciated,

Ben

hey,

you can zoom in and out of the timeline by pressing 'Z' which is the keyboard shortcut for the zoom tool in FCP X.

good luck.

awesome thanks!

but theres no way to do it with your roller scroller on your mouse?
