Greetings all,

Is there any way to search for a specific phrase on these forums? For example, I want to search for posts that contain exactly "scientific calculator" and not get all the posts that have only one word or the other.

Thanks,
Brian

You could try edesignuk's MRoogle. :)

Probably not the answer you were looking for but VBulletin's search capabilities seem pretty basic to me. I have used MRoogle at times and it can be much better although it may not be as up-to-date.

I believe you can use quotation marks and it will search for just those two words in the order you write it

Nope...it still searches for the individual words. This has frustrated me many times over the years. I use MRoogle sometimes, but it takes awhile for posts to show up in there.

I just use Google if I want something specific. Of course, sometimes the results are my own posts where I or someone else was asking the question in the first place...
