How to see an embedded link in a .me/.mac email

Sorry if if this is not the place to ask this, but:-

I have been chatting to someone on a dating site and gave her my .me email. In her second email, was an embedded link but I don't want to click on it in case "she" is a scammer. How can I see the actual link, it just reads "My flower blog", and when I first got the email the text was pink, now it is blue.

In answer to my own question, I now see that if I hover my cursor over the link, the complete link becomes visible after a few seconds.
