I have set of Sony WF-1000XM4 earbuds and I'm using Tidal to stream music from my 2019 Macbook Pro on Big Sur OS. I'm wondering if I'm getting the best sound out of my earbuds, and trying to see what codec is being streamed. Option-clicking the bluetooth icon doesn't show the codec like it did in the past, only RSSI, Role, and Address. I've heard talk of an app called Bluetooth Explorer from Apple, but I'm unable to find it online if it's still a thing.

Is there a way in Big Sur to see and manipulate the bluetooth codec being used, or am I stuck with whatever the OS decides to put out with no indicator of what it might be?
