how to see how much i've downloaded each month?

On my internet provider i have a 40gb download limit and last month i went over it =\ I wondered if there is any programs to track how much i've downloaded during this month so i know if i still have any space to download.

I Have the same problem, I use the iStat widget to keep a rough eye on how much I am downloading.
This is not very accurate of course. I would be interested in a program which would monitor useage also, if anyone knows of one ???

Surely you're ISP has an online usage meter?

Try SurplusMeter ( http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/20884/surplusmeter ) and see if it suits your needs. You might have to put it in your login items to start automatically -- or start it manually every startup.

It is perhaps a but geeky but if you install dd-wrt firmware on your router, the newest version has a bandwidth meter. I installed it for this purpose.
