How to see if iPhone 4 is in stock at stores?

I've been calling all the Apple stores near me to see if the iPhone 4 is available. And its annoying having to wait 15 minutes on the phone to hear if they have it or not. Is there a way I can check from my laptop?

it shocks me that apple doesnt have the supply checker online like they did for the 3G and the 3GS for the iphone 4, considering the 4 is the "biggest product launch in Apple history"
