I went for my first run the other day using the workout app and had issues selecting music.

I chose a running playlist I had before starting the workout app but when the workout began the music stopped.

I used my Bluetooth headphone button to start the music again but this just played a shuffle of my whole music library on my iPhone.

Is there any way to select a playlist for the workout app?

Thanks

Not that I'm aware of. I'm somewhat disappointed with the Workout app and feel this is one feature that's missing. Hopefully they'll add the feature in an update. I either use the Music app to select the playlist or use Siri. I'm finding the latter to be quicker and easier. Just tell Siri "Play playlist Running" or whatever your playlist name is.

That's odd that the music stopped. I've had no trouble playing music then starting a workout and continuing with whatever I had selected.. Not sure why that would be happening.
