how to select French keyboard?

I got my iMac friday and today I received my french canadian keyboard I plug it and did the software and firmware update but still no accent. How do I tell my iMac I have a french keyboard ? I see nothing in the System Preferences, Keyboard and Mouse.

Have you looked under International system pref. Then Input menu.

Edit: On an English keyboard you can also get accents and such using the Alt key:

Alt+e=´ (then press the letter you want to accent. ie Alt+e + e = é)
Alt+`=`(then press the letter you want to accent. ie Alt+` + e = è)
Alt+c=ç
