I have an iMac from 2008. It's 24 inches with a 2.8 GHz Core 2 Duo. Everything is default specs except the 500 GB hard drive and a Nvidia 8800 GS graphics card. The problem is that the graphics card is broken, which is why I'm selling. Where's the best place to sell this other than eBay?

Try craigslist or, if you wait a few months, the marketplace forum here.

Yeah i hear this place is getting a marketplace I would suggest gumtree or craigslist. Ebay are quite extortionate with their fees (especially when you add on the paypal costs if you actually use paypal). Make sure you specificially say exactly what's broken and then feedback-wise, you'll be fine!

No, the reason NikFinn said 'wait a few months' is that after I belive 3 or 6 months (and a certain number of posts) a newbie forum member can finally use the MacRumors marketplace.

Ahh my bad, i heard from a friend that there was one being made, never knew one already existed.
