Does anybody have any advise on how I should go about selling my macbook pro? It’s a 15" 2.2ghz in fairly good condition. Would selling it void the warranty to the new owner?

No sir. the warranty travels with the computer itself.
Take good photos of it. Describe it properly and accurately...it will sell a bit better if it has the AppleCare Extended warranty if not, you should still get a good price.

(original discs, boxes, etc help it with a few extra bucks on the sale).

you may want to throw in something extra...if it doesnt come with leopard throw your leopard disc in with it, a hard drive, etc)

good luck and yes eBay it!

The easiet way is to sell it on eBay.

I sold a one year old MBP on eBay last summer. The warranty had just expired on it a month before I sold it. The new owner got it and found out that the battery would not hold a charge even though it only had 11 cycles on it. I never used it on battery power and those 11 cycles were from the power cord pulling away from the laptop without me knowing. The new onwer simply took the laptop and battery to the Apple store and gave her a new battery free of charge.

Any warranty will tansfer to the new owner.
