hello. does anyone know how i can send a pages document by email, to a windows computer so they can view it. have tried to just attach it and send but when they get the email they are being asked to purchase a licience. thanx
 
You'll have to save it as a .doc or .pdf so that one can view it on a Windows PC
 
* From the 'File' menu in pages choose 'Export'. Then click on 'Word' and then press 'Next'. Give the file a name and press 'Save'. This will produce a file with a .DOC extension that you can email to the Windows user.

* I am assuming you are using IWORK 08

If they only need to view the file, it would be best to send them a PDF file to preserve fonts and layout. PDFs can be created with the "Export" command or the "Print" command.

Windows users are being asked to purchase a license? For what?
 
thanx guys. yes using iwork 2008 so i,ll do that. thanx the licience was being asked for winrar whatever that is. everyone should use macs, i,ll never go back to windows
