So I would like to be able to send music files to my boyfriend in australia. Sending them via old-fashioned mail takes longer than I'd like and its expensive, so i'd like to be able to do it electronically.

The music I'm trying to send is imported from a c.d into itunes.

I've tried zipping the files but it doesn't give me the option and i'm not sure if it's because of the format that itunes automatically puts it into, m4p??

Any advice would be MUCH appreciated thanks!!! :D

I'll work around the copyright issues by assuming you made the CDs yourself and they are recordings of your own band.

Now that they are in iTunes why 'zip" them? Simply send the .mp4 file. It is already compressed and zip can't make it smaller.
