Unfortunately I couldn't find the post where someone was complaining about Lion's Mail and inability to post to groups in the Addressbook.

It turns out to be easy to do if you forget about how Mail used to do it (it had it's own address book window).
  1. Create a new message in Mail
  2. In AddressBook select the Group (or select members individually if you don't want to mail to the entire group)
  3. Drag the selection to the mail window in "To:" "Cc:" or "Bcc:"
  4. That's it!

IMHO, much easier and more intuitive than Snow Leopard or earlier.

It is even easier than this.
Just open the address viewer in Mail (the "head and shoulders" icon next to the paper-clip). Drag the group to the To: field.

Spidey!!!

Also interesting because the button for the address book is gone from my Mail! Looks like you have to add it in customize as it isn't there by default. Also found it as "Address Panel" under Windows in the menu.

Anyway, I like drag and drop from Address Book better.
