How to send MSN offline messages on Mac?

Hello,

Can someone please suggest an alternative to Microsoft Messenger on Mac? Microsoft Messenger doesn't allow offline messages at all.

Three third party clients allow sending offline messages... you could try searching but haha

aMSN (www.amsn-project.net)
Mercury Messenger (www.mercury.im)
Adium (www.adium.im)

The first two are Windows Live only
the last one is multi protocol

Adium is my favorite alternative the messenger because of the customization. It's missing some of aMSN's features but the pros outweigh the cons.

Adium, without any doubt. It's one of the best OS X apps out there, all categories (according to me). It's light, powerful, heavily customizable and well... it just works. (Except the odd days, or hours, after MS thinks it's a good idea to change their protocol.)
