I would like to separate or add temp contacts into my iphone. I get customers that may call a few times then they are done. I really don't want to clutter my normal address book with them. any idea's? right now I use gmail to sync contacts.

I agree with darngooddesign, you can use groups with your Mac Address Book, not sure how Google contacts comes into play there...

Can't you manage them locally on address book? I agree groups is the way to go. Add your temporary contacts to a "temp" group and then delete them when you're done with them.

Not sure what OS you are using. But on Windows with Outlook to sync the contact (and calendar). In Outlook create a new contact subfolder under the default Contacts folder and you can create your temporary contacts under there. Then sync the contacts back to your iPhone.
