How to set an audio when mail is received?

Hello I'd like to set up an audio alert when a mail is received from a specific sender.

I can have the audio alert sound when I receive any mail but I would like an alert when its from specific senders?

any way to set this up or a program to use?

Off the top of my head, I think you can probably set up a rule (within apple's Mail) to do that.

Do you use Mail or perhaps a different email client?

I've just had a look and I can confirm that it's really easy to set up a rule within Mail whereby a sound will be played upon receiving a message from a certain sender.

If you use Mail, go to Preferences > Rules

I use the mail app on my mbp. I can download any program or client that I need.
