How to set global View Options in Finder

I've googled, but this is driving me nuts.

I want to set view options to *ALWAYS* be just date, size and nothing else (*).
How can I do this? I've removed all .DS_store files and set to 'use as default' and still it won't obey my command :-s

Please help


*Moreover, kind, relative date, show previews seems to make OS X's slow SAMBA handling even slower - so I have good work reasons to prevent show previews.
