ok well i installed hdapm and got it working on the max setting but i want to set it to 200. i was told 200 is a good number to where the drive wont click and increase in load cycle count greatly, but at the same time it wont be running at max power.

anyone know? and will i have to use a sudo command when doing this?

open Terminal app in utilities....

type:

hdapm disk0 200

and hit return

(might ask for your password)

if you already have it installed correctly this should work.
