How to set up 2 different Gmail accounts?

I have a Gmail account set up as my main email, and I set up a second Gmail account on my iPhone today, and while I can see my emails and have received new emails, I can't send emails from it for some reason.

How should my outgoing server be set (I followed Gmail's directions), and should that server be On or Off when I look at the settings?

Both outgoing servers should be on, and each one associated with the appropriate inbox.

I use two G-Mail Accounts in IMAP mode and have never had any problems.

I have no idea what was wrong, but I deleted the 2nd account as well as the 2nd server (when I looked at the settings for my 1st account), then set it all up again, and it's working now.
