I was able to set up MMS with instructions stating to turn off 3G. I do not want to do that. It is slow enough as is.
Are there set up instructions to set up MMS with leaving 3G On?
Advice appreciated, thanks!

If you dont get Tmobiles 3G in your area there's no point on leaving 3G on. All it will do is drain your battery faster.
Only a few certain areas in the US have been upgraded by Tmobile to support 3G service with the iphone. If you only get 2G E service then turn 3G off in the settings. You wont get any faster data on Edge by leaving it on.

Thanks for answer. I do get down to Metro NY area, I gather that is 3G. What happens if I turn it back on?
Also-I gather there is no way to get it set up with#g, just in case.
Boy, did not realize that for the $50 unlimited it will be that slow! It is unbearable and not worth it.
