Hi all,
I have Apple magic mouse 2 (iPhone lightning cable) and a monitor.
Can I set up new Mac mini (without wired keyboard and wired mouse) ?

No. You will need either the Apple Magic 2 keyboard or a wired keyboard. There are entries you need to type in during the setup process. For example: Your Apple ID and password. Plus other things.

Your Apple Magic Mouse 2 is okay and will be recognized. No need for a wired mouse.

I can enable On-Screen Keyboard on Mac OS with Apple Magic Mouse 2??

You can try, but there isn't much guarantee, that it will accept it.
Here is a similar forum thread:

This was one idea:

You can probably get one cheap wired keyboard for some bucks at your local store, if they are also selling multimedia etc. The standard USB PC keyboard will work with you Mac mini out of the box.

Yes you can.
Just plug the USB to lightning cable to connect the Mouse and the Mac Mini for the first time,
Then turn-on the mouse.
They will automatically pair-up.
Un-plug the cable to start using the Mouse.

If they don't pair-up, blame Apple for giving wrong instructions.

Thank you
I tried but I failed.
I can't setup continues in the first setup screen because haven't option to enable On-screen keyboard using magic mouse 2 (not like Windows OS).

Giving up just because you can't acquire a 3$ USB keyboard?
Can't call a friend/relative to borrow one?

So ridiculous!
What part on the globe you are living?

Faced this problem just last night as my old Logitech Bluetooth keyboard (K480) wasn't detected during initial setup (it needed to be manually paired in settings). Got kinda frustrated until I figured out that you can enable the Accessibility Keyboard during initial setup prior to needing to enter any text. After Language and Region setup it gives you 4 possible accessibility needs, and I think it's the second one that has options to turn on the on screen keyboard that you can click with the mouse. Kind of a pain, but it worked enough to get me through till I could access setting and pair the keyboard properly.

What a strange thread...

I saw people trying to install Windows with keyboard only. I can't figure out one would try to do such a thing. I mean, a computer is supposed to be used with a mouse and a keyboard.

What OP would do with his computer with no keyboard, if he manage to go through setup?

Perhaps he only need to use Youtube, Just like we are trying to use the search function of Youtube app on Smart TVs.
