So I should be getting my iPhone 6 today, and I am wondering how do I go about activating it? Do I just take out my ATT sim card from my iPhone 5 and put it in the new one and I am good to go? Or do I need to call and go through all that? Thanks for the help!!

Did you do an upgrade on your line?

If so:

Back up your current phone, turn on new phone, restore from back up (unless you want to set up as new)

And you're all set. Your old phone won't have service.

If you bought outright, just switch sims.

Yeah I bought the phone as an upgrade to my line. So the new phone will have a new sim?
