I want to be able to take 10.4 and setup an internet FTP server, and use something like dyndns so I can have a myname.whatever.com I can consistently go to. (I have a dynamic IP on DSL)

Can anyone tell me now, help!?

I use my Netgear router to handle the dyndns.org updates and have a port forwarding for TCP 21 going to my iMac's internal IP address. I then just turn on the FTP server in the Sharing panel in System Prefs whenever I want to activate the server. OSX does the rest.

Requires a Netgear router, but very easy to setup and use.
