I'm having trouble setting up a "shared folder" on the Mac that is the only one visible from a Windows XP machine.

The problem is that regardless of whether I create a new user in the Mac's "Sharing" applet or not, when I go to actually map the drive from the XP box, I have to log in to the Mac from the Windows XP machine as "me" before the drive actually gets mapped.

Thus, after mapping the drive on the XP machine using the user name I created in the Mac's "Share" applet, but then having to login as me when I try to actually complete the drive mapping (I get a separate login dialog on the XP box), anyway, all the folders on the mac are visible to XP, not just the shared ones.

I've struggled with this for a couple of weeks and have checked a couple books, but am still not clear on how to get this shared folders to be the only one a Windows user can actually see/access/modify.

Look forward to any help or suggestions.

Thanks.
