Hi, my wife and I currently share an iCloud calendar, and both our phones and my Mac pull from there. She also has her work's Exchange account added to her phone so she can see work items.
When she needs to schedule a personal item during work hours, she has to add it to the work account so her boss knows what's going on, but we also want to share it with our iCloud calendar so I can see it (and my phone wouldn't be authorized to subscribe to her work's Exchange account). How can we do this? For awhile she was sending me calendar requests so I could accept and add them to iCloud, but then she sees duplicates on her phone. The only other thing we could think of was for her to send calendar requests to my gmail account; then I'd define gmail to my phone's and Mac's calendar programs -- that way I'd see those items via Gmail and she'd see them via Exchange and there'd be no duplicates. But that's so clunky.
Is there any better way to share calendar events without duplicates or a roundabout method like this Gmail solution?
Thanks!
