Hi, I remember setting up the M2 mini and making it so I can see the hard drive icon on the desktop but I can't find it on the M4 mini.

When I search it says go to hard disks which I do not have that entry, if I search for hard disk I get Time Machine.

So anyway, like to see what's going on on the hard drive, Thanks

Click anywhere on your desktop, so it shows "Finder" next to the Apple icon on the top-left corner of your screen.
Click on "Finder", and choose "Settings" from the drop-down menu. Click on "General"
Click the box next to "Hard disks" --and -- you should now see your boot drive icon somewhere on your desktop, likely near the top left corner (or whereever there is enough space for that icon to ahow.)

Yeah that's what google says but I don't have hard disks under general, closest thing is storage.

Not System Settings. Finder Settings (Finder > Settings).
