Hi, even I lowered the volume of my 15 Pro Max to the lowest, whenever somebody sends me a message via Facebook, a loud beep sound is made. How to silent it? In the 6S+ Era, we could toggle a switch for no sound but there is no such switch on the 15 Pro Max.

Go into settings, notifications, pick the app you want to change. I’m guessing you mean Facebook messenger so it would just be Messenger. Turn off the toggle that says sounds. I believe this should work.

Russel’s answer is the ideal if you want to silence just notifications from that one app.

Since you mention the toggle on prior iPhones what you may want is also just to silence the ringer. You can either set your action button to do this or use control centre where a little pictograph of a bell can toggle the ringer

Thanks. So that Bell icon functions the same as the left toggle switch on the iPhone 6S+?
