How to sort by Artist?

How do you sort by Artist in FINDER? (NOT iTunes)

Is there a way to? or a Finder Alternative that will do so for me?

Macintosh HD / Users / YOU / Music / iTunes / iTunes Music >> CMD+2 > click on the name column

Or do you mean something else?

I have a folder of mp3's.

It is sorted by the name, and I want to sort it by artist.

Since those are your only options to view, I don't think that is possible, unless you rename the actual .mp3 files.

i've been trying to work this out for months now, ever since i switched from windows. in my opinion the lack of file info options in finder is the biggest flaw in the OS, in particulat 'artist'. i work as a DJ though, so this is extra important.
i will keep trying and if i find a solution i will let you know. i'm trying out a dew finder alternatives at the moment, but i've tried this before and nothing has remedied the problem.

Why not just use iTunes and sort by Artist there?
