Maybe I've just had a few too many gin and tonics but I can't for the life of me figure out how to sort Photos albums so the *newest* photos are at the top... This seems like such a no brainer option but under the "sort" menu there's only one option, "Sort by oldest first" and even that's grayed out. I seriously want to throw my MacBook Air at Tim Cook's head... Sometimes the decisions they make about small user preference stuff is mind boggling. Am I missing something?!

Hi,

only the generic "Photos" album is affected by this problem.
(I am with you and would like to be able to sort by newest first, have filled two bug reports to Apple on that...)

For the albums you created (either normal or smart), you have the choice to sort by oldest or newest first, or title.

Thanks Bruno. I don't use albums all that much I usually just dig around in my big "Photos" album so I wish that feature was included. Thanks for response, though!
