How to split a clip in FCP 5???

After selecting the in and out points, how do i split a clip in to two?

Say a 10 sec. Clip

in at 0

out at 5

to split the first 5 and second 5 into two clips????

There should be a little razor blade icon in the bottom right section of the screen. Click on that, then click where you want the split (or cut) to be. Hope this helps.

Always forget about those little tools...

Or you can mark your in at 5, your out at 10 and hit "delete."
