Wouldn't you like to know?!
Hey everyone,

I have a couple of long videos [more than an hour long] that I'd like to split into different parts of less than 10mins to upload to youtube. I just downloaded this MPEGstreamclip but can't figure out how to split the videos I have.

I'd truly appreciate any help I can get.

EDIT: I just realized this is in the wrong section- should be under video not audio. My apologies.

Try using the split function in iMovie :D. Get to the point of the video where you want to cut off, and do edit - split.

QuickTime Pro can. You move the markers in the time line to the clip length desired and go to the menu and select "trim to selection" and "save as" with a new title. Bam!

Final Cut Pro

Use in and out points in Final Cut Pro. Or in iMovie create multiple projects and cut and paste >10 minute portions, then export.
