How to stop applications from accessing network?

Hello

I need to stop an application from accessing the network, does anyone know if there's a way to do this using software that came OS X or a program that does this? Thanks guys
 
Fyi

Tried glowworm on Snow Leopard, resulted in BSOD. Didn't know macs had those.
