How to Stop Email Address From Going to SPAM/JUNK

I have an email address for a small business that I have started. I use GMAIL. I know for a fact that this email address ends up in peoples spam/junk mail folders and is resulting in lost communication etc.

How can I stop this? I need a reliable email address that does not go to peoples spam or junk folder. Does getting a paid email service solve this? What else can I do to solve this?

I really really need to figure this out. Thanks!

Check to make sure the email address hasn't been flagged by a blacklist like Spamhaus, SpamCop or others. If your email has been been blacklisted, you usually need to follow up with the blacklisting site to follow their precedure for removing yourself from the list.
