I have over 700 useful (though rarely used) contacts in my Palm Tungsten T3 Address Book which I'd really like to store on my iPhone (so I can retire the Palm). However, I'm not keen at all to store them all in my Contacts (for obvious reasons). Any simple solutions out there?

There are several apps that let you "sync" various files to your iPhone from your computer. I'm guessing your Palm can be sync'd with your computer and you have some sort of "database" file? Possibly convert to a "word" type document or excel doc then store it. I don't know the details but iPhone 3.0 show's promise of syncing contacts from various programs (outlook, other phones?) I don't recall the details they shared at the recent announcement but come June you may have an easier way to do it. :)
