I would like to stream Amazon Prime Music to the hifi system in my living room. I have a Sony Playstation 3 hooked up to my receiver, but the PS3 is not a supported device for Amazon Music. However, iOS devices are supported.

So, does anyone know if it's possible to connect the iPad (which streams the music) to the PS3's USB port (using a lightning to USB cable) and listen to the music thru the hifi's speakers? (I haven't downloaded the Amazon Music app to my iPad yet, so haven't been able to try this yet.)

Thanks!

Your best bet is to use an Apple Airport Express which will appear as an AirPlay device from your iPad. It has an audio output on it which you can use as an input into your hifi system.

Alternatively, you could also use an Apple TV but the airport is a cheaper option
