How to stream from MacMini to other TV?

Hey,

I got a mac mini in my living room, connected to my TV.
Now instead of buying a second mac mini, I'd like to stream the movies from the mac mini to the tv in my bedroom.
How can I achieve that? Do I need to buy an apple TV? Any other options?
