How to sustain better battery life for Powerbook G4

I have no idea what this means. Is this good or bad?

I can get about 25-30 of battery time without it being plugged up. Any way to increase that time? It just drains entirely to quick, so most of the time it stays plugged in in order to even use it with comfort.

It will be a while before I'm able to update to an intel Mac so this is my only computer for right now...

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

no but i'll try it...i mean i have left the battery run out before and then plugged it back in...

i do understand that i'm working with an OLD mac...this is a replacement battery from Apple...it never seemed to have kept a long charge though...maybe they didn't send brand new batteries...

thought about purchasing a brand new battery...but sheesh $100 is a bit steep when i could be saving that $100 for a new mac in general
